It is possible that this change in ownership caused the postponement of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. With two years between the teaser and the official announcement, Joseph Pelling assured fans that the series would still take place by posting a photo of the Duck Guy on his Twitter account. As of this writing, they are still listed as one of the production companies behind the series. Much to the surprise of the creators and fans of the network, Super Deluxe's ownership shifted several times between the release of the teaser up until 2020. ![]()
